2025 Goals

I love having a list- and a plan. So here are our 2025 goals:

Now that you can visualize, lets talk about it from top left to bottom right:

  1. Hot tub: I have been saying I want a hot tub since we moved onto the ranch in April 2024. Our original plan was to get a more expensive one and set it right outside the sunroom. But my five-year goal is to have a nice in-ground pool with a hot tub, so I think this will keep me happy until then.
    I highly recommend the book Deeper Than Money if you haven’t read it. This is exactly what she is talking about!
  2. The kitchen: White tiles, black cabinets, dark butcher block counters, and an island. Mine needs to be finished!
  3. The chicken coop: It’s so cute, but, more importantly, it will hold quite a few chickens. I want the ranch to have around 30, so during the summertime, we are getting two+ dozen eggs/per day.
  4. The girl in the garden: That’s me. Being healthy.
  5. The flower with a picture of the Hulk: I want to go to Universal this year and check riding it off my bucket list.
  6. The septic cover: Ours is a mess- we need to get it looked at and the cover replaced. Fun stuff, y’all.
  7. Key West sign: Mom and I are going to the Keys after our Disney cruise. <3
  8. The big garden: This is what the front yard will look like. I can’t wait to have enough food to cover both our grocery needs and that of others!
  9. The beehive: Well, we have chickens and a garden; we need bees, too, right?!
  10. The shower: will hopefully be done before the beginning of 2025 but it’s so close right to the end of this year that I decided to go ahead and add it. I am hoping the shower getting finished will give me an idea of what to do in there.
  11. The dog with the Gardyn: I want to put the Gardyn in the office. And Grim is cute.
  12. Trellis with lights: That’s similar to how I want the garden to look. Not too much light because we’ll have so many other lights going on in the area as well.

The Big Goal for 2025

In case you can’t tell: the big goal for 2025 is to get Harvest Ranch up and going. Chickens, Bees, and the produce. I want to clean out the shop, the brush pile, the trash pile, and the stone/scrap metal pile out of the yard. So much to do and I’m so excited to do it!
